Owner and Designer, Taylor Small
Taylor has a diverse background - weaving visual design, marketing, public relations and social media into a well curated narrative for a variety of businesses. The unifying thread has always been an inherent interest in design and building brands. An entrepreneur at heart at her happiest outdoors, Oasis was years in the making.
Her love of plants began with her parent’s garden in the Hudson Valley, she became well versed with identifying species and which plants worked well together at an early age. Every space she occupied transformed into a greenhouse of sorts and spreading this joy and knowledge was how Oasis Design came to be.
Choosing a plant for your home or business should be a lifelong decision - the care it needs and where it will thrive best is essential. Marrying your aesthetic with the right plants and vessels, whether interior or exterior, is what we do best. Our goal is to provide design services that outfit your space for success and communicate your brand’s personality effortlessly.
After completion, we offer custom and detailed care guides, or as we suggest, weekly maintenance visits with a plant guarantee to keep everything happy and thriving.
Q: Favorite plant?
A: Begonias! They are so expressive in different varieties with interesting textures and colors. They very fondly remind me of my grandmother, Dolores.
Care Manager, Corinne Atamaniuk
Corinne is an artist and creative by nature, with a Bachelor of Art from the University of Chattanooga. She is an integral part of Oasis Design and has been on the team since one of the earliest installs at W Hotel in 2021.
Corinne oversees the maintenance team, guaranteeing the utmost level of care for every client and their greenery. She plays an important role in each step of the process - from procurement, to install, to caring for our designs as they mature and grow wild with the seasons.
Q: Your earliest memory interacting with nature?
A: Picking raspberries and spending long summers at my Grandmother’s house in New Jersey. I think it was here I learned a love for plants and nature that has carried over into adulthood.
